10.09.2025: Together with Kunnskapsparken Bodø (KPB), Andøya Space and ISAR Aerospace, Newspace North hosted a site visit to Andøya for Tech Tour Space 2025.

The participants visited Launchpad A at Andøya Spaceport where they were given a presentation by Jonas Mentz at ISAR Aerospace.

Later, they visited Andøya Space where Ketil Olsen (CEO Andøya Space) gave a presentation of Andøya Space and also Andøya’s strategic location. The group was then given a tour of the facilities at Andøya Space.

Lastly, the participants visited Norway Spacehub where they were greeted by the hub hostess. Njål Tengs-Hagir (CEO Newspace North) gave a presentation on Newspace North and Norway Spacehub.

The lord mayor of Andøy Municipality, Kjell-Are Johansen, welcomed all participants and took them on a virtual tour of the municipality.

The municipal director, Sveinung Ellingsen and municipal manager John-Petter Karlsen held presentations highlighting the possibilities and also challenges in Andøy municipality.

At the end of the day, municipal manager Bjarte Bugge, asked the participants to engage in answering 5 questions regarding the municipality.
